Before you read I have a story to tell ! ....our first tub was used and complicated and went wrong ! I spent hours trying to get a hot tub engineer to call it was 3 week waiting then £90 an hour plus vat ! ......He had to order the new pump and pressure sensor then return 4 days later to complete the job .....nightmare .....several disgruntled customers wich slagged me off ....on a review site... as their short break had no hottub and one guest cancelled ! And believe me once they have analised fault dropped the water fitted part refilled and heated ...plus the call out I recon up to 8 hours so £710 call out £80 plus vat and parts .......you do the maths !
I decided NEVER AGAIN ! So I converted to this tub AMERICAN MADE & FULLY INSULATED beware of chineese imports ! We have 5 this is surplus ....electrics just plug in, and pump plugs in that's it apart from the 2 flanges should you need to replace pump .... we have one tub had 4 years use commercially ....still going strong ......anybody with a basic diy skills CAN maintain this tub!.......please read on This tub is fully refurbished new electrics and new pump and motor ! PLUG & PLAY ....simply plugs in very economical SIZE 190 cm by 75 cm in old money 6ft 4 by 2ft 5.... so it fits through standard door The tub itself is made by kayak manufacturer and is grp nylon so nothing to go wrong and no rot ! Tub heats by a vortex as water is forced out of pump lovely idea .....no electrics with pressure switches, and costly sensors !
And electric heating elements and costly circuit boards to go wrong ! Unlike blow up tubs and wooden surround tubs the shell on this should last for hundred of years I imagine in several decades these old tubs with expensive parts will be used as garden planters ?! We have a number of these tubs in our holiday letting business ....and they get some stick The lid is as new except see photo had slight tear but repaired ...and does not effect usage They do take a while to heat from cold can be up to 40 hours ....but once hot they just top up ......if I need to heat a tub quick I simply use a drop in element 3 kwh wich heats it from cold to 38 degrees centigrade in 7 hours .....see last picture (not included) please note it does not need the element it is just if you need to change water and heat quick as we do when we have a changeover , especially in summer with the babes and the false tan !!....... BUT MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE GOING IN TUB ! Very economical to run 1.5 hp or 1.1 kwh costing about 16 pence an hour whilst pump is running !
So only parts to replace ....should they go wrong .....is pump cost new £100 or £30 if you buy a used one electrics £15 that's it IF YOU ARE TO USE THIS COMMERCIALLY AS WE DO ITS GREAT AS IF A GUEST HAS BEEN IN TUB AN HOUR ( WICH IS MORE THAN W.H.O RECOMMENDATION OF 20 MINUTES) TUB WILL TAKE ABOUT 4 HOURS TO REHEAT BY VORTEX PUMP ! This saves abuse we had a person in our first hottub for 7 hours I send a friendly tex about safety he stormed off and blamed me as our holiday hottub ad says 24/7 hottub !!!!! THIS PREVENTS GUESTS "CAMPING OUT" IN TUB FOR SEVERAL HOURS.....FOR SAFETY AND MINIMISING YOUR ELECTRIC BILL ! Viewings 0phone thanks for looking Advertised elsewhere so will be removed if sold
