Spaform Balboa 6 - 8 Person Hot Tub

Used Spaform 6-8 person hot tub. Measurements (approx.): 203cm wide x 201cm long x 100cm high. 5 x separate seats plus 1 x lounger which can also be used to seat 2-3 persons therefore seating comfortably up to 8 people (we have had 12 in this tub at a party and still not felt squished in!). Each seat has an abundance of jets in varying arrangements (in excess of 50 jets altogether) including what we have termed the 'lazy boy' chair with leg and wrist jets. There is also a seat which specifically targets the shoulders and upper back area.

The lounger is especially relaxing as when led down this targets the whole body. Most jets can be adjusted to suit personal preference on power. The tub has had some replacement parts, notably the control panel which was replaced prior to us purchasing. Therefore the control panel is not the original part but is still a Balboa control panel - the display is not working particularly well and would benefit from being replaced. We have recently replaced the blower and two colour changing Balboa light bulbs so the jets are very powerful and work brilliantly to sooth away the aches and pains.

Heats up to 40 Celsius. The head rests are present but could benefit from recovering/replacing as the outer cover is 'peeling'. The hot tub cover is present but again could do with recovering/replacing as is quite old, heavy and the outer covering is dropping - we have taped this up to keep it out of the water. Externally the tub is in an average condition for its age - there is some small areas of damage to the wood and the panels have been on and off for repair. Nothing of particular note but could do with a coat of something to protect the wood.

All in all, a fabulous, large hot tub which works but could do with a bit of TLC to return it to it's former glory. Great first time tub - we are selling due to an upgrade. The tub is now drained and ready for collection. Cash on collection only, buyer must have/arrange a suitable vehicle to carry the tub, access is very good, you can get the vehicle pretty close and we will help load but it is recommended that you bring a couple of able bodies with you to help lift as this is very heavy. FYI there are a few people advertising on classifieds board who move these for a living so might be worth and enquiry.
