Canadian Spa Hot Tub Muskoka

Canadian Spa Hot Tub Muskoka. Condition is "Used". We bought this 2nd hand approx 2 years ago, and it has served us well, but it does have 'faults'. Good bits first; It comes with hard cover, and all the panels which make up the frame are fine. It also has the V2 heater/pump unit.And as a side note, Canadian Spa have been offering a P/Ex on other tubs and using this would have given £1k discount against their other 'hard shell' type tubs.

Firstly, the heater/pump unit is a Version 2, and needs a service/reset. I talked with Canadian Spa about the likely issue, and their view is that a thermal sensor needs resetting. They'd concluded that on the basis that we decided after a year or so of using the heater in the normal way (with the heater) - we had switched to filling the tub with hot water from an outside tap, and C-Spa think that most likely we had the water above the pumps thermal 'cut out'.They quoted around £80 to fix (if it is indeed that). Also. The liner has a slow leak. Slow enough that over a weekend there'd be minimal water loss, but by the following weekend the level would have dropped to around the outlet pipe level.

So i suspect that the areas around those pipe inlets needs a repair/patch.For our kind of occasional use it wasn't an issue at all. It served us well and we used it til late last year when unfortunately the Mrs borke her knee and wasn't able to get into it for months, so to help with recovery, we bought a hard shell/therapy type tub. The pics show the tub in situ and uncleaned, To to demonstrate that all the 'bits' are there and complete, and they also show the liner after cleaning.
