This sensor is the temp sensor found on many Gecko S-Class Systems as well as HydroQuip Systems utlizing Gecko circuit boards. Many of the early sensors had 3 wires black/red/green. As the green wire serves no purpose it was eliminated a number of years ago, all new replacement sensors will only have the black/red wire.
