Your pump has an Intex flaw with the ceramic white shaft 3.2mm is brittle. Your Intex impeller is off balance and eventually will snap the shaft. NB There may be damage to your pump. The shaft wears the top and bottom of the pump. You will see a wear mark on the outside bottom of pump.

Also the inside of the pump maybe compromised and leaking water 💦 inside the sealed electric motor. This may have an effect on this product. I’ve had customers saying that it’s not working/ spinning. This is the reason. The product is tested 💯 % before they are sent out.

I have a replacement for that: Brand new strong impeller New non metallic steel shaft 3.6mm An amazing thicker strength. Polished and cut to exactly the same . 2 new rubber boots. Personally if your old ones are fine use them. They can be difficult to prise out.

Feedback from customers say it works fine with your old rubber boots if they are not damaged. So leave them in. I’ve tested one for 6 months and re-inspection it shows no wear , no corrosion from chlorine and no noise Fit the unit as described and enjoy your pure spa with no noise.
