Used Master Spa Down East - Exeter The Spa currently runs/heats very well and given its Canadian manufactured (The best spa’s in the world arguably) the electrical running costs are very reasonable compared with lower insulated models available to the market, running costs are circa £1 per day by my calculations. This is a 32amp electrical supply given that it’s a 2 pump model which enables the spa to still heat the water whilst any of the 42 jets are running (one chrome jet cover requires replacement but otherwise all good), unlike cheaper 1 pump models which are now available. The spa was in situ at the property when we purchased but I would guess it would have cost circa £8k-10k given the current costs for new and has run without issue since we have owned the property/tub. The cover was replaced last year at a cost of £250 and is in A1 condition and comes complete with the cover lifter and spa entry steps which are all in immaculate condition. The sliding PVC (yes not real wood) cedar effect side panels are fully intact and don’t have any noticeable damage apart from a small slat which can be seen on the side panel below the control panel on the right hand side (very minor), very light sun fade on some sides which are in direct sunlight but you can swap the panels around if required very easily.
Head and neck rests are not included as per the current filters for the obvious hygiene reasons. The spa heats up to 40 degrees (although we run at 38 degrees during the Winter/Autumn) and the tub always heats from refilling/cold at around 2 degrees per hour from a full clean down refill. The control panel is fully working and functional with varying filter cycle options, two way pump control and LED light switches which are fully working and operational. The hot tub shell is mottled grey graphite and has no wear, leaks or damage so no issues that require any repairs. The diverter for jets/waterfall switch needs to be replaced but we haven’t made this repair as it doesn’t effect the running of the hot tub for general use. (We were quoted £80-£100 for the replacement so not a major issue if you wanted to complete this but not really necessary). The only other area of note is the tub water drain tap which is very tightly fitted and I didn't want to force it (the repair cost if required would be around £75), however not an issue for us as we have always emptied the tub with a fully submersible pump (cost £30-£40) as this empties the water in just 10-15 minutes compared with 2-3 hours via the tub drain tap hence the repair was not required. You are welcome to view the hot tub fully running and operational before purchase in its current situ or feel free to Watsapp me for a video if required – 0phone.PLEASE NOTE COLLECTION ONLY FROM WS6 6QQ (M6 J11/J12 near Cannock/Walsall) before 04/07/21 latest – with immediate payment.
FYI - There are a number of hot tub removal companies listed on classifieds board who will collect/deliver spas if required for £100-£200 dependent on mileage required.
