Hot Tub

This hot tub was purchased in November and upon installation there were some problems discovered and I still haven't got round to sorting them out. We haven't used it yet but the seller refunded some of the money so we could pay someone to fix the problems. My Wife is now pregnant so can't use it anyway so figured we would sell it on to someone that can make the repairs and get some use out of it this summer. This is a wood burning style hottub but had the wood burner replaced with an electric heater for convenience. It has an external filter and all runs off uk 3 pin plugs.

It also has real wood cladding all round and a wooden lid (Siberian timber). There is also an 8 colour changing led light fitted. It is designed to be heated up through the day so the kids can use it as a small pool in hot weather and then by the afternoon it is heated up for the evening without faffing with a wood burner. The issues I found were that a couple of the jets were leaking and need resealing. The pipes leading from the hot tub to the filter are also leaking at the connections as it wasn't supplied with the correct rubber washers.

If I was keeping it I would also reverse the heater outlet and inlet as the heater jet shoots up against the lid when heating and I think it would heat better if it flowed lower down. You may not be bothered by this but should be relatively easy to swap round. Also needs a hose attachment for the external filter to be able to perform a backwash of the filter sand. Not essential though and doesn't effect its use. All the jets and heater worked fine when I set it all up.

Has 12 jets in total. Ideal for small spaces as measures 1.5m x 2m. Will seat 3 people or 2 adults and a couple of children. Cost over £2000 new so if you know what you are doing to fix it this is a real bargain. Currently on classifieds board for around £2,400.

Winning bidder must collect and will need to bring 4 or 5 very strong people to lift out of the garden as it's pretty heavy! Thanks for looking.
