Hi, welcome to this sale of a Spaform hot tub. This spa has been removed from a coastal property and is in need of some refurbishment. The main issue is the wooden cabinet which needs to be repaired or replaced. If you are handy with wood, it'll be a relatively easy job to restore this spa. The spa was working until earlier this year when it was switched off as the property was renovated.
The shell is in good condition and the spa fires up fine. I have disconnected the heater (1 screw, easily reconnected) so that I could start it up. Pump 1 is running but may need replacement/refurb soon. The blower (bubbles) works, the light works and the panel works, all of this can be demonstrated if you want to come and see it. The heater terminals are in good condition so I suspect the heater is good.
It was full of water when picked up but was disconnected so I haven't seen it running with water in. The spa has Balboa control gear which is the best American control gear. It has a pvc base which will need removing and reattaching during refurb. When these cabinets are repaired, it is usually a case of flipping the spa upside down and building the cabinet and once done, flip it back over again. You can then clad it in pvc, wood or whatever suits you.
It has a cover which is a little tatty but functional. The cabinet partially collapsed during removal due to some rot but the internal workings are not damaged. It is a simple tub (1 pump and a blower) so would make a good starter tub for someone before upgrading if it goes well. I don't have the time to repair this spa but can offer advice and parts if you fancy giving this a go! Bring a trailer and the cash and you can take it away!
Thanks for looking. I have advertised this locally so it may sell before the end of this listing.
