The heater is a WHIRLPOOL LX H20-R1 Heater 240 volt, 2 Kw, 10 amp electric heater. This heater is used in many chinese spas for water heating and can be used as a direct replacement or for similar replacement for other spa companies The heater can be hard wired or a plug added for a standard 10 amp power point. Heater MUST be installed by a licensed Electrician and MUST be correctly earthed and installed with an approved (ELCB) Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker with tripping current NOT exceeding 30 mA. The unit is complete with · Optional Pressure sensor for safety (optional if your controller accepts it, you don’t need to connect) · Over temperature for safety.

· Fittings to connect to standard OD 48.5 mm pvc piping · If If your heater is burnt out or it is built into the pump and you can’t get a replacement heater element, but the pump still works then this unit is ideal as a replacement. The easiest installation is to replace the old heater with a similar size in watts, kilowatts or amps. If you are upgrading or switching from gas please consult an electrician to ensure you have sufficient power available. Mechanical installation is very simple and all you need is access to approx 300 mm length of level PVC pipe to cut into and PVC glue. All electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician and to the relevant Australian Standard.
