Sundance Spa Cameo 605/Sentry 1988 Model Hot Tub PLEASE FOLLOW THROUGH WITH PAYMENT IF YOU BID ON THIS AUCTION Got this Hot Tub from a family friend back in either 2010 or 2011 to help with back rehab. I had planned on using it as a "cold tub" with further plans to use it normally as a Hot Spa. I even had the idea to hook this to a Solar Panel kit so I could run it year 'round with $0 cost. All those plans fell through during the process of foundation and housing... House repairs took precedence. Solar panel idea probably wouldn't have worked well due to the many trees we have here.
Anyways... here is it for sale and it is for PICKUP only... I will not ship this. It would take at least six people to even lift it and I don't have enough cardboard boxes nor enough tape.... ;) (Tub may be around 7 foot x 7 foot by 4 foot) I believe this tub can hold 5 to possibly 7(?) people? The manual is found online and/or I have the downloadable pdf file. There are some problems I will point out and all are correctable: > The cabinet to get to the pump and internal controls needs the tracks reworked... (pro cabinet shop can do this) > This tub hasn't been used since before 2010... so it is untested during the past 5-6 years. The seals will all need to be checked before you "dive" in.
;) > Matching pair of steps (not pictured) needs some support wood replaced. It was the only piece that was on the ground in storage the last couple years. > Leather top cover has a tear in it (I have photos of it), this can be repaired with a leather repair kit. The tear is not huge... perhaps 5 inches or less. > The control panel in the last photograph was slightly off angle at first, so I corrected it and resealed it with silicon glue.
It may need a bead more along the parameter. Anyone buying this should know what this is, how to install it, and be prepared to make necessary corrections to get it fully operational. Unless of course you are buying it for salvage. Here are some good things... > The shell is completely wonderful and undamaged. I went over this with a sponge and cleaner to make it sparkle (see photos).
> There is water in the pipes which is good.. because I detect no leaking... > This is the older 1988 Analog model (not digital). For some reason people prefer non digital these days.. so it's retro in that respect. > Hot Tub can either go inside or outside allowing for more options. I recommend a Solar Panel set up to keep costs at an extreme minimum for usage. > The steps were rebuilt a bit to make them more sturdy, and have been painted with a water seal paint Because of the age of the Tub (manual says it is a 1988 model), it is being sold "as is".
There is value here... even for salvaging or parts to get another one working. More pictures are available just ask! I can provide an additional five photos per request Potential Buyer can come by and review the product PLEASE NOTE: *Winning Bidder will be required to arrange to transport this thing* It will need to go from my property within a reasonable time frame I'm thinking one month at the most.
