(See attached video) Red heat light in working condition.If the motor is running IT IS HEATING AS WELL. *Unforunately the thermostat is NOT shutting down at a desired temperature.*While testing, the water temp reached 86 degrees and I had the control panel set to 80 degrees, but it did NOT shut the unit down.If you want the water temp set to 90 degrees, you will have to shut it down manually by pulling the plug.

The unit will heat the water as the motors runs. This can take up to 48 hours when you first fill the tub with cold water. (keeping Lid Cover closed will heat faster) The spa water is heated using a patented heat recovery system, which uses waste heat from the motor to heat the water.A heat exchanger coil wrapped around the motor transfers heat to the water in the coil while the pump circulates the heated water through the tub. The jets can be turned on manually by using the round knob. When it's on the left position the jets are not fully pushing water through the jets but twisting the knob to the right fully opens the jets (see pic) Being sold in AS IS condition NO returns please.

I have described this unit to the best of my knowledge.Interior has been photographed and all serial numbers recorded. The pump motor styrofoam is covered with LeatherTex, a marine-grade vinyl. The foam insulation inside the motor pack was brittle and disintegrating so it was removed. You can wrap foam around the pvc piping to retain the heat.
