This is for a full kit with its own pump which you place in the Pool to heat and remove once temp is reached. The coil is 10m of stainless steel coiled into a 30cm X 30cm square which can be heated by any fire source; BBQ (Wood or Gas), Fire Pit, Wood fire or Coal Burner, Wood Fired. Simply connect the hoses, place the coil on your chosen heat source, and place the pump in your Pool/hot tub and you will have warm water flowing in seconds.You can use a combination of flow rates, coil proximity to the fire, and fire intensity, to control the temperature of the outlet water.
In testing; we have had water as high as 65c come from the outlet. Wood Fired Pool Heater Non Electric Heater To maintain constant heating, simply maintain your chosen fire source. Performance These are guidelines only. All of the performance claims are based on; wood and coal BBQ with a lid, maintained every half hour, with a 1 week old coil, little wind, cover on pool/tub whilst heating, and 20c outside temp. Various factors will impact the performance of your coil, but in an ideal world; Water Temp from outlet increased from 10c ambient temp to 40c outlet temp. This results in; Standard 900litre inflatable tub from 10c to 40c in 8 hours 12ftx6ft quick set/above ground pool (c.10,000 litres) from 10c to 20c in 18 hours 20ftx10ft in ground pool (c.20,000 litres) from 10c to 20c in 36 hours MAINTAINING TEMP You can then use the coil, nightly for example, to maintain the temperature. Simply set a fire up and place the pump in the pool, run the fire for a few hours, refuel it before bed and leave it running.
You then have a warm pool in the morning.
