Used on all 1995 to Current, 110/115 volt and 220/230 Volt model HotSpring & Tiger River spas (Jetsetter, Prodigy, Sovereign, Vanguard, Classic Sumatran, Bengal). Watkins manufacturing has replaced old units with this Universal 6kw Titanium Heater Element. This heater is INDEED the Watkins Titanium heating element. Plumbing of spas manufactured between 1997 and current will have NO issues realigning the plumbing of the old unit with this new one.

However, spas dated 1995 & 1996 DO require a plumbing retro-fit Plumbing Kit (71557, also sold in our classifieds board store under "Parts" and "Heaters") to hook up the new heater, unless it was installed previously. We also recommend that when you are switching out this unit, regardless of year, to replace the Control Stat Thermistor (PN 38415 or 39530) and the Hi-Limit Thermistor (PN 38416 or 39525). It is easier to do it now, while you have the spa apart than to do it down the road.
