HotSpring Watkins NO FAULT HEATER Replacement End Cap Part (ONLY) You are looking at a part that is not available anywhere else in the world. If you are reading this then you are probably in the same boat as I am! This part came about after years of me having to pay for a new heater just because the end cap cracked from freezing water expanding during the winter months. The end cap was not for sale, you were forced to buy an entirely new unit. I got fed up and reverse engineered the cap, had it designed in CAD and 3D printed them in stronger Plastic.While I was at it, I had the entire cap beefed up and thickened the exterior walls that were prone to cracking, but retained the original interior measurements and dimensions.

The result is a structurally stronger end cap and you don't need to buy a new heater. I made the end cap a rectangular block of Plastic. Besides being stronger, I did not want to be sued for stealing someone else's design, if in fact it was a patented design to begin with. Basically, I intentionally made it look different. On the inside the measurements and chambers are exactly the same as the original part.

Just giving you all a heads up, I contacted the maker of these literally 3 months after he stopped producing them in 2017/18. He said he was finished making them and was selling the plans for someone else to take over. Trust me as I was in all of your boats. If you can, send your busted cap into somewhere for someone to make a 3D model of it and/or model one yourself and get it printed. We just re-cemeted the crack again for winter. Leaks a tad, but only about a foot every two weeks. GL all.
