This part came about after years of me having to pay for a new heater just because the end cap cracked from freezing water expanding during the winter months. The end cap was not for sale, you were forced to buy an entirely new unit. I got fed up and reverse engineered the cap, had it designed in CAD and 3D printed them in stronger Plastic.While I was at it, I had the entire cap beefed up and thickened the exterior walls that were prone to cracking, but retained the original interior measurements and dimensions.

The result is a structurally stronger end cap and you don't need to buy a new heater.SEE PHOTOS: My replacement part is nearly TWICE as heavy as the original I made the end cap a rectangular block of Plastic. Besides being stronger, I did not want to be sued for stealing someone else's design, if in fact it was a patented design to begin with. Basically, I intentionally made it look different. On the inside the measurements and chambers are exactly the same as the original part. EVERY SINGLE MEASUREMENT.
